You or the smoker have friends, family or visitors who want to smoke inside.

Before they come over, talk to visiting family or friends who are smokers about the smoke-free home rule. Tell them that you do not allow smoking in the home any more. Keep a bowl of gum, mints, or candy to help them avoid smoking.
